What is support in need?





Support In Need is a non-profit community-serving project started by Advait Sai that serves those in need with their education. The goal of Support In Need is to improve the educational aspect of those around the world so they will accomplish their dreams when they grow up. The methods used to reach the goal for the project are helping kids with their homework or extended learning assigned by their teachers and gradually preparing them for the next grade.



How does support in need teach?





Support In Need is an online-based project. While teaching in person has its pros, online meetings on Zoom help people from around the globe to attend these meetings.



what do we teach?





Support In Need helps students in elementary school with primary subjects, like math, science, English, and social studies (history). The wide range of teachable subjects allows for the greatest-possible success of each student.



Why us?





Support In Need, unlike other forms of extracurricular education, is free. Support In Need is also taught by a student himself, who can relate to the students and build a bond with each and every one of them. When adults teach children, it is quite often for the student to fail to comply with the teacher's instructions or education.



Subjects and important information





Math



For Support In Need's subject of math, we offer help with 1st - 5th grade homework. We additionally teach students in 5th grade Pre-Algebra to construct a stable foundation for middle school. However, rather than directly completing the student's assignment, we teach them the logic behind the problem and have them solve it.



Science



For Support In Need's scientific program, we provide the same assistance to students with science work like their math. We make sure they understand the scientific principles and logic to develop a scientific brain to help them complete the assignment.



Social Studies



For Support In Need's social studies program, we offer help with elementary school homework and teach the students unlike the way they learn in classrooms, where they learn via memorization, flash cards, or other unengaging or unhelpful methods. To instruct the students, we play games that teach them what they need to know to complete their assignments.
